An excellent opportunity has arisen to join a division of a global organisation based in Thame. This company prides itself on providing excellent customer service and efficient production and delivery of bespoke equipment to its clients.
This position would suit someone who is physically fit to be able to load and unload goods, pick goods, and also use a computer. You may have worked in retail or have logistics and warehouse experience where you have also used a computer.
We are currently seeking a highly motivated and quick-learning individual who is capable of taking on a variety of responsibilities and is self-motivated.
What you need for this role:
* Experience in lifting goods
* Able to use a computer for inputting information and looking things up
* Attention to detail, organisation, and methodical approach
* Effective communication skills, both in person and over the phone
You will work under the Operations Manager and will be trained in the following:
* The processing and shipping of parts
* Assisting the Logistics Operative with goods in, goods out, and stock control
* Picking, packing, and dispatching of sales and service orders
* Loading and unloading of vehicles and assignment of stock
* Performing checks and inspections on tools, machinery, PPE, and other items
* Reporting any shortages, delays, or issues with goods
* Conducting audits and stock takes
* Maintaining a clean and tidy working environment
* Adhering to Health and Safety regulations
