As a Community Care Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting customers with all aspects of their daily living in the comfort of their own homes. Key Responsibilities: Provide safe, reliable, and compassionate care tailored to each customer's unique needs and wishes. Respect and promote the dignity of each customer, ensuring care is provided with informed consent. Monitor and report any changes or concerns about a customer's condition to the line manager promptly. Maintain confidentiality of customers' personal and medical information. Follow care and support plans, assisting with personal care, medication, meal preparation, housework, and more. Engage customers in social, physical, and mental activities to promote well-being. Record and report care provided, changes in condition, emergencies, and other relevant information. Role Criteria: Caring, compassionate, and dedicated to anti-discriminatory care. Self-motivated, reliable, and punctual. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Good organisational and numerical skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, especially in emergencies. Flexible approach to working. Willingness to participate in initial and ongoing training. Previous experience as a Care Assistant is not essential (full training provided). Experience caring for a friend or family member is advantageous. Relevant care or health qualification is desirable. Knowledge of safeguarding procedures and health and safety matters is beneficial. What We Offer: Competitive pay rates of £14.00 per hour.
