The Recruitment Co is currently looking for a Class 2 multi drop driver to join our team in Scarborough, YO11.
Position: Local Delivery Driver
Location: Scarborough, YO11
Start Time: 07:30am – 17:00pm, Monday – Friday
Pay: £15.13 per hour
Responsibilities
1. Safely load and unload goods from the vehicle.
2. Plan and follow the most efficient routes to meet delivery schedules.
3. Deliver goods to designated locations, ensuring accuracy and providing exceptional customer service.
4. Complete all necessary paperwork and documentation accurately.
5. Ensure compliance with all traffic laws and regulations.
6. Perform pre and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any issues or maintenance needs.
Requirements
* Valid Class 2 driving license.
* Proven experience as a multi drop driver (minimum 2 years).
* Excellent knowledge of road traffic laws and regulations.
* Strong time management and organizational skills.
* Ability to handle and prioritize multiple deliveries.
* Exceptional customer service skills.
* Physically fit and able to lift heavy items.
* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
