The James Marks Academy opens in Welwyn in September 2024, when our free school moves into its brand new home. The new school will have state of the art facilities and support pupils with high anxiety, communications and poor self-esteem/mental health which has often led to school refusal. The school will initially open to 45 pupils, with numbers rising to 60 when full in 2026. The positions are primarily at James Marks Academy, but individuals could be asked to work across Trust sites when needed (mileage/travel time can be claimed).
