Delighted to be working with a client based in Aberdeen to recruit for a very diverse and varied position. The client is an industry-leading manufacturing company supplying the global energy services sector. They are looking for a candidate with strong Accounts Receivable experience to join their team and help each area of the business, including the finance and operations departments. This role promises to be both varied and challenging, with no two days being the same.
The Role
The role will support at least 3 areas of the daily running of the business: Finance, Operations, and Office Support, with a strong focus on Accounts Receivable.
Successful candidates will have a strong background in accounts receivable. Other aspects of the position can be learned on-site, although previous experience in administration and/or operations would be beneficial but not required. Each department will include the following responsibilities:
Finance
* Leading all aspects of Accounts Receivable
* Ensure invoices are processed and sent to customers.
* Manage all billing.
* Handle customer inquiries and answer the telephone as required.
* Ensure month-end close activities are performed within the appropriate and predetermined timelines.
* Provide absence cover for Accounts Assistant and Accounts Coordinator as required.
Operations
* Assist in the preparation of local and global orders of equipment
* Raise Purchase Orders
* Provide absence cover for procurement officers
* Ensure compliance with customs regulations by assisting with internal audits
* Assist with contracting out and the return of equipment and tools
Salary:
* Initial Salary Up to £35k + Post 6-Month Probation Pay Review
