Job Description:
Representing over UK manufacturers and holding significant influence over UK and international political, standardisation and commercial issues impacting members, BEAMA are the driving force behind the UK's electrotechnical and energy infrastructure manufacturing industry. Their members' products are part of the critical national infrastructure needed to enable the connection of widespread renewable generation and facilitate the electrification of heat and transport.
As Head of Electricity Network Infrastructure, you'll be at the forefront of shaping the future of energy supply. From directing member policy and advocacy activities to fostering key relationships with stakeholders, you'll lead the charge in areas such as renewables integration, cybersecurity, digitisation, and sustainability, ensuring that BEAMA remains a driving force in the energy industry.
Key Responsibilities:
* Directing member policy and advocacy activities in ENI and renewables integration
* Cultivating relationships with external stakeholders, including government bodies and trade associations
* Managing annual work plans and budgets for ENI to drive collaboration and innovation
* Serving as the primary point of contact for BEAMA members in the ENI sector
* Supporting other BEAMA activities and projects as needed, ensuring alignment with ENI priorities
* Prior lobbying experience in a related field with an understanding of the RIIO framework and Net Zero objectives
* Ability to decipher complex technical and regulatory concepts for a non-technical audience
* Experience in supply chain management, government programs, or related fields
* Commercial acumen and project management expertise
* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
* Strong team collaboration, time management, and organisational abilities
Highly flexible working, office in Central London with the opportunity to work from home the majority of the time (minimum 2-3 days a month in the Office).
Travel within UK and Europe expected for industry and member meetings.
