ACCOUNTS MANAGER – Amelia Knight Cosmetics
Founded in 1998, Amelia Knight is a successful family business.
An excellent opportunity for an Account Manager to join a fast growing, successful, FMCG company who supply both private label and branded products to highly successful leading retailers worldwide. The company are a highly respected and dynamic company who have seen significant growth year on year. Ideally you will have a previous experience working in Account Management and be very organised with good attention to detail. This role will provide excellent prospects for a bright, hardworking and career minded candidate. This role is office based between our two sites in Knutsford and Stoke on Trent
You will coordinate and manage a team and will be a key interface between our customers and internal departments to ensure delivery of customer financial plan. The work environment at Amelia Knight is fast paced, challenging and competitive. This role requires a high degree of collaboration, effective communication, with a proactive attitude, you must be a team player. It would suit someone who has worked with beauty, accessories, or clothing.
Your responsibilities will include.
• Owner of customer relationship and annual budget (development and implementation)
• Working closely with wider team members to ensure projects are planned and delivered in the agreed timeline.
• Sales reporting and planning, including management of the Sales Tracker
• Capacity Checks
• Communication and risk management of customer briefs to the wider business from concept to delivery.
• Approve costs & escalate issues / negotiate with customer through to final quotation
• Generate Target Kilo Cost
• 1st Quote Submission (Cost, CAD, Components, Cosmetics, Colours, Lead Time)
• Ensure customer amends are captured both commercially and technically
• Drive customer Approval to Sample
• Assist with handover to Product developer from Design and from NPD to Merch
• Review & Approve Samples
• Customer Approvals / Black Seal / PO delivery and accuracy
• Delivery of order
About you…
· Experience of controlling product costs and project timings in a manufacturing environment
· Highly organised and able to work on multiple projects at once.
· Ability to work to tight deadlines and under pressure.
· A strong team player, with the ability to be reactive and support the wider business where needed.
· Strong attention to detail.
· Ability to identity issues and collaboratively work on solutions.
· Independent and a self-starter
· Enthusiastic and energetic
· Able to work autonomously and not afraid to take on responsibility
· Happy to roll up your sleeves, push your boundaries and get involved.
· A desire to be a part of a team that works closely to make exciting things happen!
