This is an exciting opportunity for anexperienced mental health clinician with a passion for working withchildren,young people and families to join us as a Trainee Advanced ClinicalPractitioner and be part of the twoCAMHS Crisis and Home Treatment Teams (CAHTT) across Herefordshire &Worcestershire. Once successfully qualified, the postholder will advance toBand 8a Advanced Clinical Practitioner.
You willreceive:
1. Supervisionfrom senior medical colleagues and protected study time in the pursuit of thecompletion of the ACP qualification.
2. Support from our senior clinical team includingtrust doctors/consultants, clinical leads, pharmacists, psychologists, andsenior nurses.
3. Flexible working Mondayto Friday. No weekends and no bank holidays.
4. The opportunity totake a lead role in the clinical development of this new and evolving CAMHSservice.
Thepost holder will be a Registered Healthcare Professional and undertaking an apprenticeshipin Advanced Clinical Practice (or equivalent at MSc level to be agreed as partof the application process) which must be completed at a West Midlands-baseduniversity.

Main duties of the job
You will workin partnership with the service manager, delivering robust clinical leadershipalongside their operational leadership and contributing to the development ofthis dynamic service. Youwill receive regular protected time for shadowing and studying opportunities;as an adult learner, this will be for you to arrange as required.
You will workindependently assessing, diagnosing and treating patients with urgent mentalhealth needs in the community, making complex decisions and keepingcollaboration and patient choice at the heartof what you do.
Alongside colleagues from themulti-disciplinary CAHTT teams, you will be lead in the assessment and treatment of complexpatients. You will work closely with partners across Primary and Secondary Careto ensure the most appropriate input is delivered in the most appropriatelocation. We work in partnership with other organisationssuch as social care, education and acute healthcare, to support children andyoung peoples mental wellbeing in the most holistic of senses.
You will be delivering care in new and innovative ways-therole will be well suited to evidencing all four pillars of advanced practiceand time will be provided to work on quality improvement.
Where appropriate, youwill be expected to share your expertise and knowledge with other services/colleagues andact as a supervisor/mentor.

5. Demonstrable post graduate experience in a variety of areas including clinical area applying to experience of undertaking assessments of complex needs, initiating and reviewing treatment plans and discharging patients.
6. Experience of working with children and young people experiencing mental illness and mental distress.
7. Clinical experience of caring for children and young people experiencing mental ill health.
8. Clinical experience working with children and young people with neurodiverse conditions and mental ill health.
9. Experience of working across professional boundaries.

Qualifications
Essential
12. Registered Nurse Level 1/Allied Health Professional/Paramedic/ Pharmacist.
13. Degree level qualification.
14. Undertaking MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice or has the experience and qualifications to undertake MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice.
