Job Title Events Manager UKI Job Description We are looking for a highly organized and proactive Events Manager to plan, coordinate, and execute a range of online and offline events for the Finance Professionals Market. This role will focus on delivering high-quality webinars and in-person events that enhance brand engagement, generate leads, and drive business growth. You will work closely with marketing, sales, and external partners to ensure seamless event execution and an exceptional attendee experience. Working with an events exec for the region, you will be responsible for the execution and delivery of our events programme for the Fin Pro BU and will contribute to our performance marketing targets via our events strategy. Location - Hybrid, 3 days per week out of our Newcastle, Manchester or Winnersh office. Key Responsibilities Online Events (Webinars) • Plan, manage, and execute webinars and virtual events, from concept to post-event analysis. • Coordinate with speakers, panelists, and moderators to ensure smooth delivery. • Manage webinar platforms (e.g. GoToWebinar, ON24) work with mar tech team and troubleshoot technical issues. • Develop event content, including agendas, presentations, and interactive elements. • Promote webinars through digital marketing channels, collaborating with the web, content and social media teams. • Track attendance, engagement, and post-event reporting and feedback to optimize future events. Offline Events (In-Person Conferences, Trade Shows, Networking Events) • Plan and execute in-person events, including venue selection, logistics, and vendor management. • Coordinate on-site setup, branding, registration, and attendee experience. • Manage relationships with event sponsors, partners, and stakeholders. • Work closely with sales and marketing teams to drive lead generation and ROI from events. • Develop event budgets, timelines, and post-event reporting. Skills, know-how and experience: • Experience in event management, ideally within B2B, tech, or marketing sectors. • Strong understanding of virtual event platforms (Zoom, ON24, Webex, etc.). • Experience managing in-person events, including logistics, vendors, and speakers. • Excellent organizational and project management skills with keen attention to detail. • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. • Ability to analyze event performance and optimize future events based on data insights. • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and handling multiple projects.
