Charge Hand – Complex/Planned Works £33,366 - £35,235 per annum 37 hours per week (Plus out of hours rota) We are seeking an experienced and suitably qualified person to organise our complex/ planned works – particularly to address damp and mould conditions. They will undertake multiple trades works and offer technical support for our team of multi skilled tradesmen in order to deliver an effective and productive void property repairs service. The Charge Hand supports the tradesmen, undertakes work themselves and organises work to be delivered to ensure planned works repaired efficiently and with high levels of customer care. The post holder is required to ensure that there are safe systems of work in place for all jobs. Where necessary the Charge Hand will organise materials and liaise with sub contractors and suppliers in order to ensure works are delivered safely and efficiently. Applicants must be able to demonstrate a detailed knowledge of all aspects of building construction and maintenance and experience of applying it in domestic properties. There is a requirement within the job to do stand by and support the tradesmen to provide for an emergency service out of normal office hours. A vehicle is provided for the role.
