The post holder will provide an excellent tenancy and estate management service across the district, for a 'patch' of properties, that is customer-focused and visible. The Housing Officer role contributes to wider service priorities such as tenancy sustainment, community engagement, and the promotion of decent, safe homes in healthy communities, whilst also delivering effective tenancy management and enforcement.

Minimum Requirements:
1. Previous experience of working with the public in a similar capacity is essential.
2. A full current UK driving licence is essential, as the post holder will be required to visit multiple sites across the district, often in areas without public transport alternatives.

This post is permanent. The hours of work for this position are 37 hours per week, working Monday to Friday. This post is based at Lancaster Town Hall, and hybrid working would be available depending on the needs of the service.
