Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Financial Administrator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing financial records, ensuring compliance with regulations, and supporting the financial decision-making process within the organisation. This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
Responsibilities
1. Maintaining customer records and creating new customer accounts.
2. Preparing invoices and posting to the ledgers, ensuring that the correct information has been sourced from relevant authorities, via email or telephone.
3. Monthly checks of receipt of invoices, and if not received, contacting the relevant authority.
4. Preparing Financial Care Plans for client's contributions and uploading to the care software.
5. Using the following software – Sage, Excel, Outlook. We are currently using Sage but will move over to Xero in the future.
Experience
1. Proven experience in a similar financial administration role or related field is preferred.
2. Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
3. Excellent organisational skills with a keen attention to detail.
4. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
5. A relevant qualification in finance or accounting is advantageous but not essential.
Training will be given on the processes and systems that we use.
