Trust Finance Manager
37 hours per week, all year round
Work Location: Bruntcliffe Academy
The GORSE Academies Trust are seeking to recruit an inspirational colleague to the role of Finance Manager within the central finance team. This role is of great importance to our work as a trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for the management and operation of the budgeting and accounting systems, and monitoring and reporting on financial performance for a portfolio of trust establishments. The successful candidate will also be required to provide accurate and timely financial advice and information to the executive team, governors, senior leaders, and other colleagues to enable the trust to make best use of its financial resources.
The ideal applicant will have:
* A degree or higher education level qualification in a relevant subject or be working towards.
* At least three years’ experience in a senior finance role.
* Excellent knowledge of budget and financial management systems.
* Experience of presenting financial information to governors and senior leaders.
