Hays are working with a non-departmental body to appoint an HR Administrator to join their team on a temporary basis.
Your new role
As an HR Administrator, you will be responsible for:
* Administrative tasks associated with the end-to-end recruitment process, including scheduling interviews, employee background checks and liaising with recruitment agencies
* Provide administrative support for learning and development activities
* Support with administrative tasks related to the organisation's attendance management process
* Health & safety administration
* Carry out general administrative tasks for the HR department, e.g. phone calls, drafting standardised documents, managing the HR inbox
What you'll need to succeed
Essential Criteria:
* A minimum of five GCSEs (or equivalent) at Grade C or above, which must include English Language and Mathematics
* At least two years' relevant experience in an administrative role, including one year's experience in a similar HR role
* Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Strong organisational and time management skills
* Experience of dealing with confidential and sensitive information
Desirable Criteria:
* CIPD member
* HR-related qualification
* Experience of using computerised HR systems, e.g. PAMS
* Knowledge of HR best practice
