About the role This role will involve working in collaboration with airline representatives and the wider Terminal Operations Team; to efficiently deliver and where required to coordinate a safe and compliant customer focused service and journey to airport customers. This role is not limited to but will also include: Fully contributing to the delivery of a safe, efficient and customer focused service, throughout all aspects of the departmental remit by undertaking operational service in accordance with the required service standards including the delivery of all PRM, Coaching and cleaning services operations. Operating all departmental vehicles and equipment, as required, so as to enable the safe and efficient delivery of a cost effective service, which provides the highest standard of customer care. (Full UK Driving License Required) Providing a safe, efficient and proactive airside coaching operation to customers traveling to and from aircraft stands and gates, with the emphasis on exceptional customer care. Inspecting, cleaning and maintaining departmental vehicles, equipment and infrastructure as required, to provide an exceptional level of customer service to our customers. To effectively coordinate departmental activities, to include allocating and prioritising departmental work activities by communicating with colleagues, customers, business partners and supervisory staff, whilst supporting the Passenger Services Control Hub. Operating and providing baggage wrap services and all other tasks associated with the services desk, including shop and collect, PRM check in and dealing with customer queries. Ensuring that the successful candidate consistently provides an exceptional level of customer service, whilst delivering all aspects of the departmental remit in accordance with company customer service ethos. Contributing to effective two way communication within the department, by providing feedback and suggesting improvements in efficiency, effectiveness and customer service. Adopting safe working practices, ensuring in particular that methods of working minimise risk to self, work colleagues, customers, staff and the environment. What do the shifts look like? Shifts are likely to include a mix of early morning starts and night shifts, with some shifts starting before or finishing after public transport hours. Therefore, applicants without regular access to a vehicle or other means of transport should consider this carefully. We are looking for candidates who are fully flexible with shifts, as Passenger Services offers a 24-hour, 365-days-a-year operational service to passengers who require our assistance.
