On behalf of their respective AOR or Enabling Director, this role is responsible for management of the AOR-level contributions to the One Clyde Safety Argument, AOR risk management, safety documentation maintenance, safety competence/delegations management, safety assurance and AOR safety promotion and liaison. This position is advertised at 37 hours per week. Job description Safety Documentation Management: Upkeep of AOR/organisation-level SEMP and Safety Processes. SA Management (in consultation with the CBS SA Manager) : Upkeep of their AOR / organisations contribution to One Clyde SEMS Safety Argument including the update of supporting evidence. Compile and update the evidence for their claim(s) and supporting arguments. Expose gaps in knowledge or evidence (counter evidence) to challenge the argument(s). Maintain the linkages to evidence artefacts. Inform the CBS SA Mgr of evidence changes. Assess (using BGAR) whether evidence substantiates argument that claim has been achieved. Recommend to parent claim owner that sub claims have (or have not) been achieved (using BGAR). Safety Risk Management. In consultation with the CBS Risk Manager: Upkeep of AOR/organisation-level safety risk register. Report to AOR Directors new issues that may drive risk. Oversight of risk mitigation plan progression. Contribute to risk sentencing at governance forums. Safety Competence and Delegations Management: Raise delegation letters within AOR. Identify Safety and Environment competencies for posts and facilitate training delivery within the AOR. Retain records for functional competence and functional competence training for the AOR (Functional competence training is not yet managed centrally at HMNB Clyde). Safety Assurance: 1st Party auditing of compliance against AOR /organisation-level SEMS. Supporting 2nd and 3rd party audits. Raise, track and action findings. Respond to findings raised on the One Clyde SEMS. Safety Promotion and Liaison. Liaise with other AORs and Enabling Organisations on cross cutting matters and to share good practice. Contribute to establishing and maintaining a strong and engaged safety culture.
