Internal Sales/Customer Service Representative - Permanent - £26000 - £27000
My client seeks a new addition to their Sales/Customer service team of 4. A great job for someone who can deal with clients on a day to day basis. No cold calling to do. Deal with queries and some upselling. Growing Notts business with a great team to work with.
Based at their UK Head Office near to Nottingham, my client has an exciting opportunity for a proactive and highly motivated individual to join their internal sales team and play a key role in driving the future success of the business, supporting retail accounts and developing relationships further. You’ll be used to being on the phone, able to plan and actively make calls to retailers whilst also managing incoming calls, explaining promotions and offers, presenting products effectively and resolving/following up any queries to completion over the phone.
You’ll be using company IT software, as well as Microsoft Outlook, Word & Excel to manage diaries, make and receive calls, process orders and support customer accounts.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ATTITUDE
* Previous telesales or call centre experience would be advantageous
* Good attention to detail around data entry/inputting
* Good communication skills both verbally and written, with a good standard of English
* Ability to build strong relationships both external with customers and internally
* A positive ‘can do’ attitude
* Ability to solve problems or customer queries
* Experience of working on Sage 200 - training will be provided
* Able to adhere to policies, rules and procedures
Starting Salary: £26k to £27k dependent on experience.
Incentive/bonus scheme will be agreed based on targets set upon completion of probation
Hours: 08.30am to 17:30pm Mon to Thursday 08.30am to 5.00pm Friday
Due to the nature of this role this is office based.
