Job Responsibilities
1. Collaborate across central functions to implement and drive a suite of Data Quality policies, practices, and procedures to ensure consistency, accuracy, and compliance.
2. Act as the Data Quality expert, engaging with leadership, key stakeholders within the company and at Group level, as well as external providers to promote good data management practices.
3. Oversee the generation, review, and use of metrics associated with data quality assurance to ensure adherence to policies and report findings.
4. Drive the creation of a metadata repository solution and improve current data and report dictionary solutions.
5. Advocate for a strong data management culture by promoting the Data Quality strategy and proactively challenging colleagues.
6. Work with data owners and stewards to identify data quality challenges and implement data improvement plans.
7. Continuously seek innovative ways to improve based on the latest trends and research while networking to stay connected with business trends and changes.
Qualifications
1. Demonstrable experience in a technical data quality related function.
2. Experience in designing and implementing processes related to data quality assurance oversight.
3. Experience in designing, analyzing, and interpreting metrics to identify weaknesses in processes.
4. Strong stakeholder management skills, with experience in implementing data quality frameworks and influencing at a senior level to gain buy-in and acceptance.
5. Proficiency in using Power BI to build reports and employing metadata management tools to profile data.
6. A solid understanding of data quality concepts, standards, and industry best practices.
7. Proficiency in data profiling techniques and data quality assessment methodologies.
8. Familiarity with data management technologies, databases, and data warehousing concepts.
9. Understanding of relevant data protection and privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
10. Ability to work independently and take ownership of data quality processes.
11. A continuous learner with a proactive mindset to stay updated with evolving data quality trends and technologies.
12. Strong documentation and presentation skills.
13. Willingness to work as part of a remote team.
