Group Financial Controller
Hours of work: Monday to Thursday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM; Friday, 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM
Role Summary:
We seek to strengthen the Finance team within Tritech Group Limited, UK with a position of Group Financial Controller. This position will report to the Associate Vice President - Finance. The incumbent will be responsible for managing activities related to financial controlling and will be accountable for maintaining financial books, regulatory compliance, and supporting the company's strategies along with the Associate Vice President - Finance.
The candidate will be responsible for ensuring proper maintenance of accounting systems of the company. The ideal candidate is a qualified Chartered Accountant with a minimum of 12-15 years' experience, including at least 10 years at a managerial level with responsibility for managing the Finance function at a plant or business unit level. The candidate should have a background in the engineering or manufacturing industry.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Timely review of income/costs, reconciliations including sub-ledgers and bank accounts, and balance sheet monthly.
2. Monthly closing of books of accounts and ensure that the monthly MIS is produced and reported timely and accurately. Review of variances to budget, month-on-month movements in income/costs.
3. Preparation and consolidation of Annual Budgets.
4. Monthly preparation & review of Cash flow forecast, Monthly Forecast annual budgets model.
5. Liaising with Bankers, Vendors, Statutory & Internal auditors.
6. Responsible for VAT collections, remittance, and filing the returns.
7. Year-end closing of the books of accounts and preparation of Final Accounts.
8. Manage all accounting operations including Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting, and Revenue Recognition.
9. Monitoring and balancing cash flows into and out of the business to meet business requirements.
10. Ensuring compliance with local law, tax provisions, and relevant industry financial regulations.
11. Ensuring that invoices are properly coded, approved, and closed.
12. Developing financial strategy including risk minimization plans and opportunity forecasting.
13. Preparing company tax and financial statements including public filings.
Leadership: The candidate will need to show leadership ability to drive transformational cultural change to enable the business to deliver financial efficiency.
Travel & Mobility: The position is based in Wrexham and may entail travel to other sites in the UK or Headquarters in India.

Essential Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
2. Chartered Accountant (CA), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), ACMA, or ACCA qualification.
3. Master's degree in finance, MBA, or a related discipline (Desired).
Essential Experience:
1. Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in finance, with at least 5 years in a senior financial leadership role.
2. Strong background in financial planning and analysis, budgeting, and forecasting in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
3. Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
4. Deep understanding of financial reporting standards (e.g., IFRS, GAAP).
5. Experience in risk management, corporate finance, and compliance.
6. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization.
7. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
Desirable Experience:
1. Additional certifications in Corporate Finance, Risk Management, or Lean Six Sigma for finance.
2. Experience in implementing financial process improvements and driving efficiency initiatives.
3. Exposure to international finance and cross-border transactions, with experience managing multi-currency environments and international tax considerations.
Package on offer:
Salary: £55,000-£65,000 Depending on experience
Pension: 5% min personal contribution, Company contribution of 3%
Annual Leave: 25 days plus 8 BH Pro-rata
Life Insurance: 2 x annual salary Death in Service
