Amazon Web Services (AWS) is looking for a highly motivated, customer-obsessed professional to provide hands-on support to our Data Center Infrastructure Operations team across FRA Cluster as Data Center Security Manager.

Key job responsibilities
1. Protect sensitive data and assets by monitoring data in motion, in use and at rest.
2. Implement and manage data loss prevention technologies for on-premises access control & CCTV systems. (Experience with the LENEL Access Control & Alarm Monitoring System is a plus) CPP/PSP Certification preferred.
3. Write reports and communicate with management on the status of physical security operations. Oversee new security construction or retrofit projects.
4. Manage the security P&L for assigned site(s), assist management with financial analysis and contribute to financial decisions for security requirements.
5. Execute established compliance processes with AWS policies, standards, guidelines and relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
6. Direct work with contract guard force to run daily data center operations.
7. Triage events and assess suspicious activities related to data loss.
8. Support Incident Response teams in data loss related investigations.
9. Map data security flow diagrams to provide visibility on where sensitive data lies and how it’s adequately secured.
10. Review and analyze complex data and information to provide insights, conclusions and actionable recommendations.
11. Identify data security risks as they relate to the business and data privacy.
12. Ensure security controls are correctly applied to systems, applications and platforms housing sensitive and critical data.
13. Conduct data security assessments to ensure and validate the security posture of the organization.
14. Provide direction and guidance on reports and analyses and ensure recommendations are aligned with customer/business needs and capabilities.
15. Act as data security advisory and establish strong relationship with other data functions within the organization (data privacy, governance and management).
16. Collaborate with other teams to protect AWS Data Center personnel, information and assets.

Minimum Qualifications
1. 2 years+ operational experience using CCTV, access control, intrusion systems and investigative interrogation of access control.
2. 2 years+ experience supporting GDPR compliance in the use of data collection technology (e.g. CCTV, Access Control systems).
3. 5 years experience in a direct management role with large contract guard force teams (50+ officers).
4. Certified Protection Officer (CPO).
5. Physical Security Professional (PSP) or other recognized security professional qualification.
