Placements & Assessment Officer **
We're partnering with a Local Authority in the Enfield area to support their search for a Placements & Assessment Officer. This role involves commissioning placements for Looked After Children and conducting Quality Assurance across various placement types.
Contract - 4- 6 Month agency contract with a view to being extended on an ongoing basis.
Working Hours - Full time position. (35 hours per week)
Location - Enfield (Hybrid working)
Rate of Pay - £22 - £26 per hour. (negotiable on experience)
Accountabilities:
* To ensure QA visits to all residential and semi-independent resources where a looked after child is placed prior to placement or within agreed timescale and critically evaluate the provision against Ofsted evaluation reports.
* There will be an expectation that you will undertake at least 6 assessment visits per month, with the majority of placements being outside of Enfield.
* Collate and analyse the assessments information and to produce a report quarterly for the Team Manager, Senior Placements Officer and Head of Commissioning/AD - Strategic Commissioning.
Experience Needed:
* Looked After Children placements.
