The role
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our team. Working with the Finance Director and Accounts Manager your duties will include:
1. Bank and cash reconciliations
2. Maintaining sales and purchase ledgers
3. Liaising with clients via email, telephone, and face-to-face
4. Setting up new client files on SharePoint, using DocuSign and our project management tool, Workflow Max
About you
1. Good organisational, IT, and number skills
2. Pay high attention to detail
3. Hands-on experience with Microsoft Office software
4. Previous experience within an accounts environment would be beneficial
5. Strong communication skills both written and verbal
6. Ability to prioritise and work to deadlines under supervision
7. Excellent attendance and timekeeping essential
8. Professional and positive attitude
The role will develop as experience grows and internal training will be provided to support the individual’s progress.
Essential qualifications, knowledge, and expertise
1. Grade C GCSE English and Mathematics (or equivalent qualification)
2. 2 years + experience in a project management or equivalent administrative role.
Practical skills
1. Proficient computer and keyboard skills.
2. Proficient user of Microsoft Office packages with the ability to learn how to use and populate Workflow Max, the project management software.
3. Decision-making and problem solving; able to work under own initiative and within a team.
4. Well organised and able to prioritise own workload and work under pressure.
Our offer
1. The position is full-time, with flexible working options, working a minimum of 37.5 hours per week.
2. We are offering a salary of £27 – £30,000 pa, which will be reviewed annually and based on your experience.
3. You will have access to the company’s private health care scheme.
4. Membership of the company pension scheme with 5% company contribution
5. Hybrid working following probationary period.
The position is subject to a 6-month probationary period.
