They are a significant employer in England and are a key diver of the UK economy. They are looking for a talented In-house Construction Solicitor to join site in the North West.
Description
As In-house Construction Solicitor you'll draft, review and provide advice and support on commercial contracts (local and international) including confidentiality agreements, parent company guarantees, collateral warranties
* Manage current and new intellectual property including patent applications and liaise with external patent attorney
* Liaise with external law firms where required
* Handle highly confidential correspondence and commercial negotiations, including legal disputes
* Undertake training of employees in various areas of law as necessary
Profile
A successful In-house Construction Solicitor should be:
* Around 3-6 years PQE
* Experienced as an In-house Solicitor
* Commercially astute and solutions driven.
* Experienced with commercial, corporate and projects legal departments.
* Familiar with construction models of contract such as NEC/FIDIC/JCT.
* Public sector experience would be advantageous.
Experience within Defence and Military sector would be a benefit.
