On behalf of our client, we are looking for an experienced Operations Manager to join their team within the aluminium windows and doors sector. This is a key role that involves managing installation teams, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget, and maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
The ideal candidate will have excellent organisational and leadership skills, with the ability to oversee projects from inception to completion while collaborating effectively with clients, suppliers, and internal teams.

Operations Manager
Responsibilities:
Manage on-site installation teams, ensuring work is completed efficiently, on time, and to the highest quality standards.
Take an active role in all stages of projects, from conception through to completion, ensuring seamless execution and client satisfaction.
Collaborate closely with the Project Manager to monitor progress, address any challenges, and ensure projects remain within budget.
Attend site meetings as required, acting as a primary point of contact for clients and addressing their concerns promptly and professionally.
Support cost estimation during the planning stages, ensuring accuracy and feasibility.
Monitor project budgets, taking corrective action where necessary to avoid overspending.
Continuously monitor and assess supplier performance to ensure quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
Work closely with the sales and accounts teams to align project execution with client requirements and financial objectives.
Review, update, and implement health and safety procedures in line with company policies and UK legislation.
Ensure all team members are adequately trained and adhere to health and safety regulations on-site.

Essential Skills and Experience:
Proven experience in operations management, preferably within the construction or manufacturing industries.
Strong knowledge of aluminium windows and doors products, installation processes, and relevant industry standard (not essential but preferred).
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage and motivate on-site teams.
Proficiency in cost estimation, budget management, and financial oversight.
Strong organisational and multitasking abilities, with great attention to detail.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and colleagues.
