There is an excellent developmental opportunity to recruit a Mental Health Charge Nurse within our North Manchester Site at North View. There are Secondment / Fixed term opportunities on Forest, Acorn and Vale for a period of 12 Months. It is an exciting time to join the team in North Manchester as we have transitioned North View, a purpose-built state-of-the-art hospital within North Manchester General Hospital Site, that is improving the experience for both service users and staff. Main duties of the job
To assist the Ward Manager in providing Leadership and Operational Management to a Ward ensuring the provision of quality nursing care to all service users on the ward/department. The post holder will assess, plan and implement care, provide specialist nursing advice, and carry out specialist nursing procedures in the agreed care group. They will provide clinical and managerial leadership to junior staff, providing supervision to junior staff and students. The post holder will be responsible for holding the unit bleep and being a shift coordinator.
