We are seeking a Quality Manager to join our site leadership team, reporting directly to the Managing Director. This is a key role in a multi-skilled team, where you'll take responsibility for quality and food safety while supporting operations such as warehouse logistics, regulatory compliance, and technical aspects of food import/export.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Drive quality and food safety agendas across the business.
2. Collaborate with internal teams, suppliers, customers, and regulatory authorities.
3. Support warehouse, logistics, and food storage operations.
4. Oversee food import/export processes and compliance.
About You:
We're looking for a hands-on professional with strong technical expertise and excellent stakeholder engagement skills. Candidates should thrive in both operational roles and strategic improvement initiatives.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
1. Food Safety Qualification (ideally Level 4).
2. HACCP knowledge and practical application.
3. Experience with regulatory compliance (e.g., BRCGS).
4. Familiarity with food import/export processes and documentation.
5. Understanding of facilities management for food storage.
6. Ability to integrate into a small, motivated team and uphold company values: Partnership, Respect, Innovation, Dynamism, and Efficiency.
What We Offer:
1. Part time working week (22.5 hours) (must be flexible on days and hours).
2. Salary ranging between £24,000 - £27,000 pro rata (equivalent of £40,000 - £45,000 F/T OR £20.52 - £23.07).
