Responsibilities within your new role as the Head of SEO
Key responsibilities include managing all aspects of SEO (strategy, technical, content, authority, and digital PR), overseeing team operations in the UK and offshore, and establishing the SEO offering as industry-leading. You will handle team recruitment, development, and performance, ensuring financial and strategic growth while maintaining profitability. Collaboration with sales and cross-channel teams is essential to expand services, secure new business, and deliver high-quality work.
Your personality, experience and qualifications
We are looking for someone with 7+ years of SEO experience (preferably agency side) and expertise across strategy, technical, content, authority, and digital PR. You should have strong knowledge of SEO tools like SEMrush and Screaming Frog, experience optimising profitability, and a proven track record of delivering results. Excellent client relationship skills, a solid understanding of SEO’s interaction with PPC and social, and proficiency in Google Analytics are essential.
