Job Description

Our Cyber Fusion Centre (CFC) uses the best technology and trained security experts to detect and investigate security attacks and insider risks globally. We are looking for a Head of Strategic Programmes to lead our Fusion Centre's strategic roadmap and lead efforts that promote applicable security maturity and risk reduction.
We are looking for someone to improve and track the implementation of our security strategy roadmap, working with CFC senior leadership across all programme areas.
You will partner with the Senior Vice President of the Cyber Fusion Centre to ensure that projects are planned, prioritised, and managed over time. You will provide a structure and practices for teams within the CFC to leverage and plan their own work that feeds into the delivery roadmap.
You will be part of a world-class organisation and to work across a global team to help us stay ahead of adversaries and security risks. You will report to the Senior Director of Cyber Forensics and Threat Hunting.
Main Responsibilities
* Strategic Leadership: Guide the CFC's Threat-Informed Defence Security Strategy roadmap, supported by multiple active projects.
* Train & Engage: Manage global training programmes and events, including management of surge volunteer programme, ensuring seamless execution and high engagement.
* Programme Management: Build a programme reporting standard, use delivery methodologies, and maintain improvement practices.
* Policy & Issue Management: Track policy improvements, resolve issues during strategic roadmap delivery.
* Liaison & Coordination: Act as a liaison among partners, departments, and project delivery teams to ensure coordination among participating groups.
* Business Case Development: Oversee the development of business cases for large projects and programmes.
* Reporting: Deliver verbal and written reports to senior leadership.
* Programme Roadmap Delivery: Oversee programme roadmap delivery, ensuring adherence to processes, procedures, and standards.
* Travel: Ability to travel domestically and internationally for training, meetings, and projects.
* Additional Tasks: Undertake other tasks delegated by the SVP of the CFC to lead tactical, operational, and strategic results.
Qualifications
* Experience working with large programmes and projects; experience in security development or implementations.
* Certifications: Project, Programme, and Portfolio Management certification (PgMP, PMP).
* Knowledge: Cybersecurity technologies and frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, PCI-DSS, COBIT).
* Technical Depth: Ability to manage infrastructure work programmes preferred.
* Process-Driven: Build efficiency to improve programmes/processes.
* Tools: Experienced with collaboration tools (SharePoint, Confluence, Salesforce, Microsoft 365). Experience with metric and reporting tools like PowerBI and Tableau.
Skills
* Experience improving planning and programme management processes.
* Present concise status updates.
* Technical depth to manage infrastructure work programmes (preferred).
* Navigate priority pressure from multiple sources and develop strategies to rank work.
* Working knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.
* Vendor management and conflict management skills.
