Contribute to and support the ongoing development of the Team's databases in place e.g., healthcare contracts database, ensuring that contracts are monitored, and new contracts captured. Consult with the Home Office, NHS Digital and NHS England to ensure that the summary care record data is kept up to date. Give advice and guidance to overseas visitor officers, clinical staff, patients, and families, when treatment is immediately necessary/urgent and where entitlement decisions may be complex or when senior support is requested. Advise and consult with external agencies e.g., Home Office in regard to immigration matters, other hospitals in regard to patient transfers or for suspected fraud referral to the counter fraud team.
