A unique opportunity has arisen for an exemplary primary teacher to join our friendly and vibrant team at The Paragon School, Bath. The successful candidate will fulfil the role of Cover Teacher, deploying into EYFS to Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 classes to cover for absent colleagues both at short notice and when absence is planned in advance.
Will be a dynamic, enthusiastic and inspirational practitioner, setting high standards for pupils and having high expectations for the success of all, regardless of ability or background and implement lessons plans and differentiate teaching delivery according to the abilities and learning strategies of individual students through appropriate scaffolding, support and challenge.
The post holder will take responsibility for the welfare of each pupil and the development of their social and academic potential. Getting to know and understand each child, making records of, and reports on, the personal and social needs of pupils as appropriate.
The successful candidate will have extensive experience in a similar role a good degree in a relevant subject and supported by qualified teacher status.
This is a zero-hour contract role and the post will commence in January and once all pre employment checks are successfully completed.

The Paragon is an independent, co-educational day school based in a beautiful Georgian house a mile from the centre of Bath. Catering for more than 250 children aged three to 11, we offer a broad curriculum taught in small classes by teachers with a real passion for their subject. The school comprises Squirrels Pre-School, a Pre-Prep and Prep School. The Paragon is the junior school of Prior Park College and part of the Prior Park Schools family which also includes Prior Park School in Gibraltar.
