We are looking for an enthusiastic, efficient and organised Business Support Manager to join our Outpatient Management Team.
You will be based at Clatterbridge Hospital and be responsible for the day to day running of the Wirral Hospital Booking Service.
Main duties of the job
The Division of Diagnostics and Clinical Support is recruiting to a Business Support Manager role in the Outpatient Department.
You will be part of the division’s operational management team and will work alongside the Directorate Managers and Assistant Directorate Managers to support the running of the busy Outpatients Department.

Qualifications, Specific Experience & Training
* Hold a degree in a relevant area or have equivalent experience
* Significant relevant experience of line management of administration teams
* Significant relevant experience of working within the NHS
Knowledge and Skills
* Excellent computer literacy demonstrated by an ECDL qualification and experience in using a wide range of software packages
* Ability to plan and organise a range of complex activities
* Knowledge and experience of key NHS related government initiatives
* Ability to present data in an informative and user-friendly format
* Ability to work under pressure, on own initiative, and meet deadlines
* Ability to contribute to teamwork, supervise others and lead change through people
* Ability to communicate at all levels within the organisation, exercising tact and diplomacy
* Take responsibility for own learning and development by recognising and taking advantage of all opportunities to learn, including full participation in individual review, supervision and by maintaining a personal portfolio of learning

The amount would vary depending on the level required: Standard Disclosure £21.50+£6.50 or Enhanced Disclosure £49.50+£6.50 (please be aware the additional sum is an administration fee and may increase due to inflation). This will be deducted from your salary, in manageable monthly instalments for up to 3 months following commencement of employment.
