A specialist SEN school in West London is seeking an experienced and dedicated SEN Teacher to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis. The Role: Delivering specialized teaching to students with a wide range of special educational needs, including autism, learning difficulties, and social, emotional, and behavioural challenges. Designing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) to support each student’s specific learning and developmental needs. Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment, promoting independence and confidence in students. Collaborating with SENCOs, therapists, and other staff to develop effective interventions and strategies to meet students’ needs. Monitoring and tracking student progress, providing feedback and adjusting teaching strategies as necessary to ensure students’ success. Developing and maintaining strong relationships with parents and external agencies to support students' holistic development. The Ideal Candidate: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience in teaching students with special educational needs. Experience in a specialist SEN setting or working with students with complex needs is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of SEN strategies, teaching methods, and behaviour management techniques. Ability to work collaboratively with a team of SENCOs, teaching assistants, and external professionals. Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to making a real difference in the lives of students with additional needs. Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage with students, colleagues, and parents effectively.
