On behalf of our client, ITS Building People (Southampton) are searching for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a bespoke residential developer who also deliver some Industrial units in Hampshire
This role would suit someone who is keen to progress and develop their careers with a highly regarded developer who offer a clear career path.
Key Responsibilities -
Collating and issuing tender packs for sub-contractor work packages
Negotiation and analysis of Sub contractor tender returns
Producing tender analysis for subcontract work packages
Completion of Subcontract orders and variations
Subcontract payments, variations, and final accounts
Completing Monthly CVRs and cost reporting
Cost reporting and budget control
Attending site project meetings
Responsible for project lead with HA, including prepare and issue monthly HA valuations, cash flow forecasts, key date trackers
The ideal candidate
The ideal candidate will have previous experience working as a Quantity Surveyor on Housing projects and be keen to progress their career.
Essential Qualifications/ experience required/ specific requirements for the role:
Experience working within the Construction Industry as a Quantity Surveyor
Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor working for a Main Contractor or Residential Developer on housing/industrial projects Training/Progression opportunities:
Future opportunities to progress into a Senior Quantity Surveyor position Where a range of rate of pay is quoted the level of experience, qualifications & related training required is the minimum required in order to qualify for the lowest rate of pay quoted.
