As a Marketing Automation Specialist, SME Subject Matter Expert, you will:
Help clients transform their marketing capabilities by implementing and optimizing leading automation platforms. You will play a critical role in designing, integrating, and executing automation-driven marketing strategies that enhance customer engagement, personalization, and business outcomes.
Responsibilities Include:
* Marketing Automation Strategy:
* Work closely with clients to assess current marketing automation capabilities and define strategic roadmaps.
* Provide recommendations on platform selection and implementation best practices.
* Platform Implementation & Optimization:
* Configure, integrate, and optimize leading Marketing Automation platforms (e.g., Adobe Experience Cloud, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, HubSpot, Braze).
* Ensure seamless data flow between CRM, CDP, and analytics platforms.
* Campaign Execution & Personalization:
* Design automated customer journeys, segmentation strategies, and trigger-based workflows to drive engagement.
* Leverage A/B testing, dynamic content, and multi-channel orchestration to optimize campaign performance.
* Cross-functional Collaboration:
* Work alongside marketing teams, data analysts, and engineers to ensure alignment between business goals and technical execution.
* Translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.
* Measurement & Optimization:
* Define and track KPIs, conversion metrics, and ROI to assess marketing automation effectiveness.
* Provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
We are looking for experience in the following skills:
* Hands-on experience with leading Marketing Automation platforms (e.g., Adobe Marketo Engage, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, HubSpot, Braze).
* Strong understanding of lead nurturing, scoring models, campaign automation, and personalization strategies.
* Experience with CRM integrations (e.g., Salesforce, Dynamics 365) and Customer Data Platforms (CDPs).
* Ability to analyze campaign performance data and translate insights into actionable improvements.
* Strong problem-solving and consulting skills, with experience working in Agile or hybrid delivery environments.
Bonus Points if you have:
* Certifications in Marketo, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Pardot, or Braze.
* Experience with API integrations, SQL, or scripting for marketing automation workflows.
* Background in consulting or agency roles with a track record of delivering enterprise-level automation solutions.
