Brook Street recruitment is delighted to be working on behalf of our legal client in Belfast to recruit a new Employment Law Solicitor - the candidate hired will need to have a minimum of 3 years of post-qualified experience.
The successful candidate will take over an existing case load of quality claimant-based cases.
Duties
* Undertake a broad mix of contentious and non-contentious employment work for a broad client base of household names in sectors such as retail, transport and banking.
* Be involved in delivering a programme of training, seminars and legal updates to clients.
* Provide employment law advice to employees and employers
* Handle contentious matters in In dustrial and Fair Employment Tribunals
* Specialise in advising public body clients
* Cultivate and maintain client relationships
* Help clients develop employment contracts and policies
Criteria
* Around 3 year's PQE in employment law whether from private practice or in-house.
* The suitable candidate will need to have good file management experience
* Experience in case management programs
* Experience in tribunal proceedings
* Strong advocacy, communication, and interpersonal skills
* Strong academic background
