Join us as a Gateline Assistant!
We're looking for Gateline Assistants to be the friendly face at the station, assisting passengers and ensuring smooth fare collection. In this rewarding role, you'll help create a positive experience for every customer.
What You'll Do?
1. Provide exceptional customer service at ticket barriers.
2. Operate and manage automatic ticket gates.
3. Check and issue tickets, helping customers without valid fares.
4. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized gateline area.
5. Sell tickets using a mobile machine when needed.
Working Pattern?
You must be flexible to work various shifts, including weekends and bank holidays. Shifts include an early shift from 06:15 to 13:15 and a late shift from 13:15 to 20:15

We are currently recruiting for both permanent and 12-month fixed-term positions. Interviews for shortlisted candidates are tentatively scheduled for the week commencing 28 April 2025.
What to Expect?
6. After submitting your application, you'll complete an online assessment (recommended on a laptop/computer).
7. Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a competency-based interview.
8. Successful applicants will need to pass a medical assessment, including a drug and alcohol screening, as well as a Basic DBS check.
9. Full training will be provided, including a 3-week training programme in Swindon.
