An exciting new job opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Deputy Care Home Manager to work in an amazing residential care home based in the Leamington Spa, Warwickshire area. You will be working for one of UK's leading health care providers.
This provides personalised residential care for residents in a warm, welcoming environment, nestled in beautifully landscaped grounds near the heart of Royal Leamington Spa.
To be considered for this position you must hold an NVQ/QCF Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care.
As a Deputy Manager your key responsibilities include:
1. Supporting the Home Manager with the management of the Home.
2. Responsible for rota planning, employee recruitment, and both induction and mandatory training, ensuring that the needs of our residents are recognised, assessed, and met where possible.
3. Monitoring and managing individual employee performance to ensure standards are upheld, addressing any issues as they arise through the appropriate channels.
The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:
1. Previous experience in a care-related field.
2. Previous experience of supervising staff.
3. Ability to manage, lead, and motivate a team.
4. Awareness of financial plans/budgets.
5. Awareness of best dementia care practice and how to support older people living with increased physical and emotional frailties.
The successful Deputy Manager will receive an excellent salary of £43,560 per annum. This exciting position is a permanent full-time role for 39 hours a week working through days. In return for your hard work and commitment, you will receive the following generous benefits:
