This post will work out of Rowan House Clinic providing full clerical support to the ISCAN teams that are based within the clinics. Working as part of a team, the post holder will act as the first point of contact for all community service users therefore the post holder must have the ability to deal with the general public and have a positive approach to customer care. Administration experience is essential as you will be expected to undertake a full range of clerical tasks. Community clinics currently operate between the hours of 9.00am and 5.00pm, Monday to Friday, however the Community Administration service is contracted to work between the hours of 8.00am and 8.00pm, Monday to Saturday. This post will be working at Rowan House Clinic, Hyde. The hours of work will be 37.5 hours a week working 9:00am to 5:00pm Monday to Friday. The post is a full-time permanent position subject to a successful 6 month probationary period. Main duties of the job The designated person will provide full clerical support to the Health Care Professional teams based at Rowan House. As part of a team, the designated person will be the first point of contact for all community service users. The post holder will be familiar with a full range of clerical tasks and undertake specific duties. The post holder will be undertaking tasks requiring strict confidentiality. The main form of communication is via email and telephone. The successful candidate will be required to respond to daily queries from internal and external organisations therefore applicants should be excellent communicators with good written skills. Excellent attention to detail is essential, together with the ability to work to deadlines. In addition it is a necessity that applicants have a good knowledge of Microsoft packages and strong IT skills.
