We are working with a school that specializes in supporting young learners with SEMH needs, helping them navigate their academic journey while addressing their emotional and social challenges.
The Role:
As a Teacher, you will work with small groups of students, using creative and engaging lessons tailored to their individual needs. You will focus on delivering high-quality English and Maths lessons while also providing support with the social and emotional challenges that may impact their learning. Your role will involve:
* Planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons for students with SEMH needs, across KS2 and KS4.
* Supporting students to build their literacy and communication skills in a safe, inclusive environment.
* Collaborating with a team of professionals to support students' emotional, social, and academic development.
* Using restorative practices and behavior management strategies to create a positive and respectful learning atmosphere.
* Monitoring student progress and providing regular feedback to students and their families.
The Ideal Candidate:
We are looking for a teacher who:
* Holds QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) and has experience teaching Entry Level English and Maths.
* Has a strong understanding of SEMH and the ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of individual students.
* Is compassionate, patient, and resilient, with the ability to build strong relationships with students and staff.
* Demonstrates excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with colleagues, parents, and external agencies.
* Is committed to continuous professional development and ensuring the best outcomes for students.
