Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, the Operations Administrator will provide both clerical and administrative support individually and as part of a team. You will also be involved in coordinating, implementing, and communicating procedures, taking responsibility for specific projects and tasks. On a day-to-day basis, your responsibilities in this role as an Operations Administrator will include (not exhaustive):
1. Checking and processing operative timesheets on a daily basis in line with business cut-off periods.
2. Supporting and coordinating the organization of training courses.
3. Raising purchase order requisitions and processing goods receipts upon receipt of invoices.
4. Processing area transactional data accurately and in line with requirements.
5. Updating various departmental spreadsheets with information as it becomes available.
6. Assisting with the production of presentations, documents, and reports.
7. Coordinating meetings, including room allocation and catering requirements.
8. Reporting any unsafe or hazardous working practices.
9. Collating and formatting monthly statistics and reports for the manager.
10. Monitoring local annual leave and sick leave entitlements/payments.
No formal qualifications are necessary for this Operations Administrator position, but a sound level of both numeracy and literacy is required, as is previous experience as an administrator or in organizing and planning.
We are looking to hear from candidates who can demonstrate strong teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills, along with strong competence in Microsoft Packages. Experience with SAP would also be a bonus.
