. Authorise release of sterile equipment after autoclaving following HSDU policies and procedures. 2. Transportation around the HSDU of both sterile and non-sterile equipment which includes manual handling of theatre instrument trays and other equipment between processes. 3. Collection and delivery of sterile and used equipment to wards, departments and clinics around the main hospital site. 4. Carry out duties in the sterile store including checking of sterile packs/trays after sterilisation, preparing items for distribution. 5. To replenish stock in the sterile store and make sure stock is rotated and report any raw materials shortage. 6. To record all equipment that comes into the department and at all stages of the flow through the department as HTM guidelines state using thedepartments tracking and traceability system. 7. To liaise with supervisors and managers to assess information and performance monitoring requirements. 8. To liaise with customers by telephone or face to face if delivering/collecting from wards, departments, and clinics and to communicate information within areas within areas of specialisation and to FastTrack pack/trays when necessary. 9. To complete any training that is necessary for your role which includes any changes to the national guidelines. 10.
