We’re looking for a Legacy and In Memory Giving Coordinator to join our Legacy Engagement Team. The Legacy Engagement team supports the RNLI by nurturing and protecting legacy income by providing excellent service to RNLI supporters thinking about leaving us a gift in their Will. Your role As a Legacy and In Memory Giving Coordinator you will be tasked with focus on the following areas: To support the growth of legacy fundraising by interacting with legacy and in memory supporters, offering stewardship to large group of pledgers via phone, email and post, handling reactive enquiries and proactively keeping supporters informed and inspired Working with legacy engagement and marketing to tie stewardship into active campaigns and to support the regional engagement team with event planning/logistics and introductions to new high-level pledgers. Working with the Legacy and In Memory Giving Manager and Coordinator, to answer all legacy enquires promptly and accurately drawing upon a detailed and in-depth knowledge of legacies and Will writing. Deliver and co-ordinate semi-bespoke stewardship activities to pledgers through mailings, events and phone calls to supporters. Work in conjunction with multiple internal stakeholders to develop cohesive and engaging proactive stewardship campaigns to specific pledger audiences. About you In this role you will be developing Legacy and In Memory supporters’ long-term relationship with the RNLI by working with legacy marketing and engagement to enhance campaigns with a personal touch, offering ongoing engagement and stewardship to inspire, inform, and thank. To be considered for the role of Legacy and In Memory Giving Coordinator you will need: Proven customer service skills Experience of working in a fundraising environment, working knowledge of databases and CRM systems Good understanding of in memory and legacy fundraising experience in developing fundraising plans and stewarding supporters (Desirable) Educated to GCSE standard, or equivalent – English essential. NVQ Level 2 Customer Service skills, or equivalent.
