Whytematter are excited to be recruiting an experienced Management Accountant for their client, who is based in Mallusk.
This client is a provider of mechanical and electrical installation, heating installation and servicing, property maintenance and improvements as well as a range of sustainable energy solutions, including domestic energy efficiency services. They have really exciting growth plans over the next two years due to a recent buy-over of the company group which this role will play a key role in.

The successful candidate will report into the Group Financial Controller and work closely with the Senior Management Team.
Key Responsibilities
* Monthly management accounts preparation including full reconciliation of all balance sheet accounts.
* Monitoring and reporting on job performance.
* Responsible for daily bank administration including bank reconciliations for company bank accounts and cash flow forecasting.
* Administration of UK and ROI VAT / CIS including returns.
* Financial Accounting activity including journal entries, Profit and Loss Account reconciliations and financial analysis.
* Preparation of year-end audit files and liaising with external auditors.
* Job costing analysis and WIP reporting.
* Preparation of monthly sales reports and customer profitability analysis.
* Responsible for the weekly / monthly creditor payment process.
* Development and recommend / implement process improvements.
* Preparation of government statistical returns.
* Budget administration.
* Development of company templates using advanced MS Excel formula.
* Manage a finance team to meet monthly deadlines.
* Monthly meeting with Directors to discuss management accounts.
* Monthly inter-co recharges and balance up inter-co accounts with other group companies.
* Any other duties required to fulfil the requirements of the position.
Essential Criteria
* Qualified Accountant.
* Membership of a recognised accountancy body (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA) or equivalent.
* Excellent IT and Excel skills.
* Experience of using a financial accounting package.
* Ability to work under pressure and deliver a varied portfolio of work with minimal supervision.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Excellent organisational skills including planning, setting priorities and meeting deadlines.
* Excellent interpersonal skills with a strong concern for excellence and attention to detail.
