To provide specialist paediatric services as an effective team member within the Paediatric Unit.
The paediatric service has an approved establishment of 3 specialist paediatricians and 1 RMO. The service operates a community paediatrics clinic 5 days per week and outreach services.
Location:
Located in the heart of Gippsland only a few KM’s from the coast, this popular East Gippsland town is surrounded by national parks, forests, and beaches. The town has Recharge at the town, which is a popular stop-off point and has excellent cafes, bakeries, and galleries. From here, you can take a drive into the Snowy River National Park through tall forests to get a good look at the Little River Gorge – Victoria's deepest gorge – and Little River Falls, a 600-metre high waterfall. On your doorstep are the dramatic coastlines, sheltered bays, and endless golden beaches. This is also a popular place for river and estuary fishing, water-based activities, and relaxing on the beach.

As part of the statewide health service, you will be located in this modern 160-bed facility providing high-quality health care to the local region. The hospital also offers services in medical, surgical, and allied health specialties through inpatient and outpatient departments. The hospital has a strong relationship with the University of Tasmania's Rural Clinical School, and the secondary care facilities are both associated teaching hospitals with contemporary teaching environments.
Requirements:
