Our client, a global organisation with a reputation for providing excellent service to its customers, as well as a flexible and enjoyable working environment, is looking to hire a Management Accountant on an interim basis. This is a hybrid role and a fixed term contract until Feb 2025, so candidates must be available immediately to start as soon as possible and be able to commute to Luton 2 - 3 days per week.
Main duties include:
1. Ensuring timely financial reports are generated
2. Reviewing P&Ls at month end against budgets
3. Providing insightful variance analysis explaining all relevant differences
4. Balance sheet reconciliations
5. Business partnering with stakeholders to improve processes and controls
6. Supporting the UK Finance Manager
7. Preparing tax and statutory packs
8. Ensuring sales invoicing is correct
9. Reviewing and approving supplier invoices
10. Assisting the FP&A team on budgets and quarterly forecasting process
Key skills & experience includes:
1. Part-Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA
2. Proven experience in a fast-paced environment within management accounting
3. High levels of integrity and attention to detail
4. Effective at planning, organisation and ownership of tasks
5. Excellent interpersonal skills
6. Strong excel skills
7. Proven ability to prioritise and manage expectations, working to tight deadlines.
