Role Overview As a Quality Inspector, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that all finished products meet customer specifications and comply with the company's Quality Management System (QMS). You will be responsible for precision inspections, quality assurance, and compliance verification across all stages of manufacture. Key Responsibilities Product Inspection & Testing - Conduct first article, in-process, and final inspections to ensure components meet customer and regulatory standards. Non-Conformance Reporting (NCR) - Identify and document quality issues, working with engineering and production teams to implement corrective actions. Technical Documentation - Verify all supporting quality documentation, process records, and material certifications. CMM Operation & Programming - Use and program Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs) (training provided). Tooling & Fixture Verification - Ensure all tooling and fixturing meet required specifications. Audit Participation - Perform internal audits alongside manufacturing staff to ensure compliance with ISO9001 and AS9100 standards. Continuous Improvement - Support initiatives to enhance inspection processes, quality control procedures, and production efficiencies. Skills & Experience Required Experience in a quality inspection or engineering inspection role (preferably in aerospace, automotive, or precision manufacturing). Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify and resolve quality issues. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, engineering specifications, and GD&T. Familiarity with metrology and inspection equipment, including micrometers, verniers, and CMMs (training provided if needed). IT proficiency for maintaining quality records and documentation.
