Plant Engineer - Larkfield Leisure Centre - Hythe, Kent Hours: 37 hours per week, including Evenings & Weekends We are looking for an enthusiastic Plant Engineer to join our Larkfield Leisure Centre team on a full-time basis. Hours worked will predominantly be Monday to Friday and will entail starting at 6am. There may be a requirement for some weekend or evening working. The Plant Engineer is responsible for the effective management, economic operation and maintenance of all plant and equipment at the Centre. You will be responsible for responding appropriately to all reactive maintenance issues in accordance with the agreed priority rating system and with a focus on the service provided to our customers. You will manage the computerised maintenance management system, undertake and record routine maintenance, manage the planned preventative maintenance schedule, and operate and maintain pool plant to ensure suitable water quality for bathers. You will also be the liaison with external contractors, whilst monitoring their work. Candidates should have relevant previous experience of operating and maintaining commercial plant, and undertaking maintenance tasks, alongside knowledge of pool chemicals and dosing systems. Candidates would ideally hold a Pool Plant Operators Certificate, however training will be provided to the right candidate.
