The Role
We are seeking a dynamic and visionary leader to shape the future of nursing services within the Health & Social Care Partnership (H&SCP). This pivotal role offers the opportunity to influence and drive the delivery of person-centred, safe, and effective care for the Lanarkshire population, aligned with Scotland’s 20:20 Vision and Quality Strategy.
As a Key Figure In The Organisation, You Will
* Lead strategically and operationally to ensure excellence in nursing services and clinical practice.
* Provide professional direction, effective governance, and support a highly skilled nursing workforce.
* Drive key initiatives such as the implementation of the Children’s (Scotland) Act 2014 and Mental Health Services, ensuring efficient, high-quality care across Lanarkshire.
In this role, you will also deputise for the Nurse Director, attending high-level Executive meetings, including the Corporate Management Team and Public Protection - Chief Officer discussions, further cementing your influence in shaping healthcare services.

What we'll need you to bring
* Educated to/working towards or operating at Masters Level.
* Registered Nurse with valid NMC registration.
* Significant senior management experience in the NHS or another complex multidisciplinary public or private sector organisation.
* A significant and demonstrable track record of success in the management of service improvement, in the delivery and monitoring of high quality standards of care, in the planning and delivery of successful organisational change and in proactive partnership working internal and external to the NHS.
* A high level of performance in the leadership behaviours identified as crucial within NHS Scotland such as working in partnership, learning and development, caring for staff, improving performance through team working, communicating effectively, improving quality and achieving results.
* Detailed understanding of clinical best practice and policy.
* Experience of working and successfully contributing within a senior team.
* Experienced in staff management/development and multi-disciplinary working at peer level.
* Proven people and financial management capabilities.
