The impact you will make:
Agios Pharmaceuticals is searching for a dynamic Senior Manager, Commercial Training to join our Commercial Execution and Operations team. The Senior Manager, Commercial Training will be responsible for supporting the execution and implementation of the Commercial Training Plan supporting our mission, vision, and key business priorities. This individual must thrive in a fast-paced, innovative environment while remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful, and efficient. Excellent interpersonal skills are required, along with the ability to develop important relationships with key stakeholders and execute key tactics against critical issues.
What you will do:
Needs Assessment and Curriculum Development:
* Collaborate with Market Access leadership to identify skill gaps within each team’s core competencies.
* Develop and deliver training materials to enhance organizational execution and support Market Access strategy.
* Manage and administrate the LMS System (Compliance Wire) for the Market Access organization.
* Supervise and track completion of all Market Access team training courses.
* Support the ongoing development, implementation, review, and revision of all Market Access training materials.
Design and Execute Training Events:
* Support the new hire Market Access onboarding process.
* Manage and coordinate all logistical support for both virtual and in-person training events.
* Facilitate both live and virtual training and informal/formal presentations.
Collaborate and Communicate:
* Foster strong cross-functional relationships within the Agios organization.
* Serve as a project manager to support key initiatives across the Market Access organization.
What you bring:
* Bachelor’s degree required.
* 8+ years in pharma/biotech industry, rare disease experience.
* 5-7 years within commercial organization of pharma/biotech.
* 3-4 years of experience in Learning and Development/Training.
* Strong understanding of the prescription access process and healthcare systems.
* Experience administrating a Learning Management System.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Work Location:
Location Agnostic: Work location for this role is based on employee's individual preference. This role can be either remote in the US or hybrid in our Cambridge Headquarters.
