Land Project Manager - Solar, BESS, Onshore Wind
Salary: Dependent on Experience - £45,000 - £55,000
Location: Northwest office with Hybrid Working
Piper Maddox is working with a hugely exciting renewable energy company specializing in the development, construction, and operation of Solar, BESS, and Wind projects. This company has a presence in close to 20 different countries globally, and this role will sit in their UK division.
The development arm of the company has a strong track record of delivering close to 3GW; overall, their current pipeline for development sits at just shy of 10GW. You would play a key role in the progression of utility-scale renewable energy developments, helping the UK achieve its Net Zero goals.
They are looking to add a Land Project Manager to their UK team to cover the greenfield origination piece of the development lifecycle. Your role would involve identifying suitable land for development, engaging and managing landowner relationships, and managing the commercial negotiations surrounding the land acquisition process.
Key experience for this role includes:
1. Prior experience covering land acquisitions for renewable energy projects or transferable major infrastructure projects (utilities ideally).
2. Experience in negotiating commercial matters such as Heads of Terms, Option to Lease Agreements, Wayleaves, Easements, etc.
3. Comfort engaging with landowners and stakeholders, typically in a rural or agricultural setting.
